What does a web application cost?
A web application is software your team or customers use in the browser: portals, dashboards, booking systems, internal tools. Here is what one costs to build properly, and how to keep the number under control without cutting the parts that matter.
Starting points
These are our introductory entry prices, quoted fixed and in writing before we start. Where your project lands depends on the number of user roles, the integrations, and how much of the workflow the app has to carry.
| Custom web application / MVP | from ~EUR 8,900 |
|---|---|
| Custom software (fuller build) | from ~EUR 12,900 |
| Application Support | from ~EUR 299 / month |
What drives the price
- User roles and permissions. An app for one kind of user is much smaller than one with admins, staff, and customers each seeing different things.
- Integrations. Every external system, from payment providers to CRMs to legacy databases, adds real work: authentication, error handling, and keeping data in sync.
- Workflow depth. Displaying data is cheap. Editing it with validation, approvals, and notifications is where the effort lives.
- Design surface. A clean internal tool needs less design investment than a customer-facing product that carries your brand.
How to keep scope honest
The single best cost decision is starting with a genuinely small first version. Pick the one workflow that hurts most, build only that, and put it in front of real users. Everything you learn makes the next step cheaper, and everything you did not build yet is money still in your pocket. Our guide to MVP development cost covers how to cut that first scope without crippling it.
The wider pricing context lives in our guide to custom software cost, and when the browser is not enough, app development pricing covers the mobile route. When you have a workflow in mind, describe it in a free intro call and you will get an honest read on scope and a fixed number.
